Jumping obstacles
The target of this kind of competition is to make the horse pass a round where it will meet various obstacles which remain fix along of the round; without making any mistake. Jumping obstacles the obedience of the horse and its aptitudes as an athlete are tested; but also the capacity of the rider to help his/her horse without interfering in the jump. The rider should sit forward, maintaining the rhythm and the balance, trying to avoid to interfere the less possible, so not to jam the horse.

This type of competition is divided in different tests, which are done in function of the different scales: counterclockwise, power, with timer...additionally they are classified in different groups depending on the height of the horse (from 1,10 to 1,60 meters).

the equine therapy is worldwide recognized as a very efficient method of physical, mental and/or emotional rehabilitation, using horses. To ride transmits the patient a feeling of balance, coordination, orientation and rhythm. The moving of the horses back is used as therapeutic equipment. What are the Alpha waves?

The alpha waves influence the central nerve system, the limbic system of the brain (regulates emotional component of the behavior).They reflect the brain activity, indicate the physical or mental mood throughout the liberation of endorphins in the central nerve system, generating sensations of calm and happiness. What is the Endurance?

The Endurance test is a competition counterclockwise, to evaluate not only the resistance of the horse face to long distances to be run, but also the strategic plan of the run from the rider’s part. The performance of the horse on different types of land and natural obstacles is significant to determine the hipic knowledge of the rider and the training and mood of the horse. Both, rider and horse, should gather an excellent physical condition, as there is nothing worse for a tired horse than a tired rider.

The competition of the Endurance is organized in (…) number of phases. At the end of each phase (to start with each 40 km.) a vet inspection is organized as a veterinarian door with a certain time of retention (the retention starts when the pulse of the horse is 64 or less, until this moment the time of the race continues). The phases could be spread on one or two days, according to the distance of the test. The round should not contain more than 10% of the ways on hard surface. The most exigent part should not be near the target.

There is no age limit for the riders, neither limitation of the horse races to practice this sport, any horse under normal conditions of health and a proper training can participate the Endurance. The motto of this sport is to prioritize the health and wellness of the equine, which will be excluded face to any sanitary problem by the veterinary service of the race.
